Native American Casinos do not give out free drinks - you must earn some sort of tier level of play to get UP TO 4 free drink vouchers per day, which must be collected at the player's club desk. Maricopa's in the middle of nowhere - not even on a major freeway - in the middle of farmland. No matter who it was, you were greeted warmly. One thing that was consistent here was the extremely friendly and polite staff - wow. Nobody seemed to know what the timeline is for its completion, but it sounded like they have big plans. We couldn't use the pool because the day before we arrived, they started tearing it up. The bathrooms were beautiful - gorgeous tile and no expense spared on the décor. Something weird, though - the lights require a room key to be in a slot by the front door in order to come on - I've never seen anything like it. Everything seemed new and in good repair.
The room was nicely appointed, including a fridge. We stayed here at the Harrah's property in beautiful Maricopa for a weekend because our friends are 7-star gambling level and could get us free rooms.
